Hayley Erner Wins Institute of Directors Business Advisor of the Year
A Harrogate businesswoman has been recognised for her inspirational work with Yorkshire business leaders and their teams at the prestigious Institute of Directors regional Director of the Year Awards.
Hayley Erner who is a licensed ActionCOACH and Roche Martin Emotional Intelligence Coach was named Business Advisor of the Year at the event at Aspire in Leeds last week (Sept 8) which brought together high profiles nominees from across Yorkshire and Humberside.
Hayley, whose business is based at Hornbeam Park, told guests that her father is her inspiration behind coaching practice..
"My Dad was like so many people who run their own business; he worked really long hours and was involved in many aspects of the business.... So my passion now is to help people to grow profitable businesses that give them both the time and the money to enjoy a great life"
"I understand that developing business owners into better leaders and teaching them how to foster an attitude of ownership, accountability and responsibility amongst team members is essential to the success and fulfilment of any business owner."
The IOD award is the latest in a string of accolades for Hayley, who is regularly recognised both Nationally and Globally for her coaching achievements also enjoys speaking on business leadership issues, having given keynote addresses at UK and European Conferences.
Other winners at the IOD Yorkshire and Humberside awards lunch included Lawrence Tomlinson, the man behind Leeds-based LNT group, who was named Director of the Year, and James Lambert, MD of R&R Ice Cream, who was given a Lifetime Achievement Award.
